De Young Properties began construction for the 2010 St. Jude Dream Home to be given away to a lucky winner this November. The ground breaking ceremony, covered live by KMPH Fox 26, included local officials, major donor and builder De Young Properties and representatives from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The 2,525 sq. ft. De Young home in the De Young Loma Vista community in Clovis will be offered as the first place prize to raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to fight cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.
Only 10,000 tickets will be available in the hopes of raising $1,000,000 to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which works around the clock to develop cures to save the lives of boys and girls, including children in the San Joaquin Valley. Serving as major donor and builder of the St. Jude Dream Home for the past three years, De Young Properties has successfully raised over $2.6 million for the hospital to date. One hundred percent of the proceeds of the give away are donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The St. Jude Dream Home will be a part of the award-winning Clovis schools and offers four bedrooms, three baths, a three car garage and formal dining room.
